Eventually I may use ol' Epidemius as an ally to my Death Guard. Could be fun to get the tally rolling...
The giant rat is from Necromunda I think. I used one of the old plaguebearer command models for the big E; just cut off his hand and added a book from the Skaven plague monk sprue.
I'll add some more rotted flesh hanging off the rat next. Maybe stick a Nurgling or two inside it too. Yummy.

WIP Nurgle Obliterators
No self respecting Chaos player takes the field without his precious Oblits!
These were made from the mutants that carry the Chaos Warshrine, some old Oblit arms I had laying around, and some spawn and Daemon Prince bitz. I still need to gunk up the guns and smooth out some of the green stuff. I still have another one to make as well.
T5 will go a long way in keeping them on the table. I like to use mine as assassins, dropping down in front of a bunch of juicy targets and letting rip with whatever weapon suits best. Then your opponent has to deal with them, taking heat off the rest of your army. Another good tactic is just walking up the field blasting away. Simple and brutal, the Chaos way...

Plague Zombies, Part 2
The last batch of Zombie models wasn't doing it for me. They were still too much like Plaguebearers with them holding the swords and all. I searched my bitz and found some old Fantasy ghoul and zombie sprues I had and tried some of their hands in place of the weapons. The ghoul hands worked much better! Now none of them have a weapon other than their own filthy claws (and maybe a torn off limb possibly). All to do now is to green stuff where I added them to make it as seamless as possible.

Plague Zombies!
Next up is some Plague Zombies. I had a Lost and the Damned army years ago, and converted up a bunch of Guardsmen, Marines, and human zombies. for it. It came out ok; the units of ghouls were a little too mish mashed, and once I painted them in different colors it didn't mesh that well with the rest of the army. I absolutely love the new Plaguebearer models, and just went with them as the basis for the zombies.
Really easy conversion...just hacked off the Plaguebearer horns, rounded off the heads with some green stuff, and wa-la...instant undead. I may make some in the future holding bones and torn off limbs...the gorier the better!

More WIP
Nothing too exciting, just a Nurgly Chaos Champ and a Rhino.
Not too keen on Rhinos with this army though; First Blood is too easy with them it seems.

Nurgle Guard
I'm planning on taking some Imperial Guard allies for my Death Guard, so I needed to come up with some Nurgly IG conversions. I had these old flagellants laying around so I went to work on them with some greenstuff to make them a bit more sinister looking. I can't wait to Nurgle up a Leman Russ or two!
I'll paint these up in some nasty greens and browns and mix them in with some assorted Lost and the Damned looking minis for a real rag tag look.
The first one is a propaganda / psych warfare specialist. I can't imagine anything more unnerving than a gurgling barrage of chanting from the enemy before a battle.
Second guy is a flamer, may have to convert up some more of those to take on hordes.
Third one is just your basic zealot who they didn't even equip with a ranged weapon. Oh well, the world needs fodder too....

Death Guard
Death Guard trooper WIP. Love using the Forgeworld torsos for these guys. He has an old school bolter I found in my bitz box; always dug the look of those.
