Supplemental codexes

Super excited about the numerous possibilities with the release of Supplemental codexes. So far we've got ones for Eldar, Tau and Chaos Marines. Here's some I would love to see...

Lost and the Damned - Rules for Chaos Beastmen, a more dedicated Traitor Guard, psycho heretics, big mutants...basically everything that was in the old Codex: Eye of Terror list.

Death Guard - Maybe add in a new breed of zombie trooper?

World Eaters - Anything to help these guys reach combat more intact would help. Maybe some sort of crazed gladiatorial type troop?

Death Skull Orks - Lootas galore!

Genestealer Cult - Patriarchs, Hybrids and Limos. Creepy!

What sort of lists would you like to see?

Would love to see the return of the Lost and the Damned and the Genestealer Cult lists, for sure!

I still have a coven limo lurking around here somewhere... :)

I'm kind of torn on supplements.

Part of me likes the idea, back to the "glory days" of all kinds of armies around.

Another part thinks it allows for lazier codex design - we don't have to design the codex in a way that's flexible enough to allow for XYZ, we can leave that for supplements. Really, how hard would it have been to include the Iyanden stuff in Codex: Eldar?

But, if they're going that route would like to eventually see the various ones you listed (especially LatD) different ork clans, freebootas, different CSM groups, Ordo Xenos, Mechanicum/Dark Mechanicum, Exodites...

@Mordian - Get that sucker dusted off!

@Taurus - I agree, it does seem like a lack of initial design with codexes may become the norm ("hey, we'll just add that in the supplement!") but I still welcome the variety of armies they could potentially produce. Mechanicus, forgot about them! That could be real horror show!
